Fr dear Fr: Is it always and everywhere wrong to ask questions on faith issues or the bible?

There is a huge difference between a general dubitatio, casting systemic doubt on matters of faith or the bible, and then asking questions of a faith nature whilst seeking the truth about those matters. The first is tantamount to a heresy according to the CCC and CIC, the second is the ordinary stuff of theology. Worry not. You are doing theology.
