End of Days?

I am reading through an internet article, a webartvid, about the mystics of Pere Michel and a girl called Maria la Luz proposing that the recent events in Iran and Israel what with so much mutual bombings and now the American Trumpian bombing of Iranian nuclear sites, Russia annoyed, that according to the mystics above these are incipient signs of a Third World War, is there any basis in such wild card prophecies?

Movies there are a few, and especially worth viewing is Arnie's movie called "End of Days" on this subject. As the Americans used to say in Rome some newspapers print not what actually happens but what should have happened, and Osservatore Romano is one like these, so too with the mystics, they discuss what might happen and what could happen if prophecies stay in place rather than what has to happen or will happen in the long term. No determinisms please. Such is the food and meat of the marxists gloom and doom merchants of the Western Islands over off Ireland there near the big gas deposits. Julia Jahenny too. Pere Michel has been predicting a Third World War and and then surprises everybody with comments like, "it has already started" and the like.
Canon lawyers are more sceptical of such prophecies since they retain a principle - praesumptio iuris cedat veritati - a presumption of law cedes to a truth or reality. Truth is stranger than fiction though - But as of this morning Pakistani and Indian govt officials have now officially nominated Dr Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for settling the two irascible sides down and pursuing peace between them. So too this morning we hear from the webnews on X, the number one source of solid news now, that peace has broken out between Israel and Iran, the 12 Day War is now over, after some stuttering. As the exasperated president did say to wild eyed reporters on the lawns of the presidential helicopter, and helicopters are sent to the warring parties drowning in hate, those two powers have been so long fighting they now hardly know what they are doing, minus his expletive herewith. They both approached El Donaldo to broker a peace deal.
As Jesus says in the 8 Beatitudes in Matthew's Gospel, "Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God" and the old style medieval models of the Just War doctrine of the Global Catechism of 1997 from CCC 2309 also advise some diplomatic efforts towards peace.
Russia is still vexed and annoyed that the Americans bombed the nuclear bunkers of the mountain retreats of Iran enrichment programmes, and Fordow and the other sites are much damaged, monumentally so, while only one remains untouched, the secret one at Al-Amarah in the mountains to the north. So we shall see, or as they say in the decency of a diplomatic tongue, on verra. All in all, it is not as yet on the cards that a Third World War is beginning or has begun. The planet seems to be settling down. Lucky calls so far.
A prophecy is a prophecy no doubt about it, keiner dubitatio, but prophecies can be turned round by actual events and actual people doing God's will, and it is God that wills peace in our time for such a riven planet - humanity which is sacred humanity does need it.
