Parish Mission - Theology of the Body
We are delighted to welcome Dr Christine Ward and Fr David Marsden from The Theology of the Body Network UK to the Parish in July.

Dr Christine Ward
Dr Ward launched the TOB Network UK, Podcast and YouTube channel in November 2023 – each week she and Fr David discuss and unpack two General Audiences taken from ‘Man and Woman He Created Them: A Theology of the Body’.
Christine has given talks in many parishes, at Youth 2000, New Dawn, Walsingham, and at Fisher House, Cambridge University.
Fr David Marsden
Fr. David Marsden has written a Theology of the Body (TOB) healing retreat, served as chaplain to the TOB Institute in the USA and co-founded the TOB Network UK along with Dr. Christine Ward in 2020.
He is currently the spiritual director of the Men of St. Joseph which is a national movement aimed at restoring a vibrant Catholic faith in England.

You are a Gift: Unwrapping Theology of the Body will take place either in St Mary Magdalene Church or the Parish Hall on Friday 11th July 2025 - Sunday 13th July 2025.

Saturday 12th July
10:00 am: Mass Followed by Benediction, Confessions & Adoration
12:00 noon: Lunch Parish Hall Bring a packed lunch with you
1:30 pm: Talk 2
2:30 pm: Break Tea & Coffee Provided
3:00 pm: Talk 3
Sunday 13th July
2:30 pm: Bring & Share Lunch with Q & A
